Kidz in the Hall Assaulted?

Posted in Misc, music with tags on July 30, 2008 by KJ

Whole situation sounds shady to me as nothing really says what happened, but I don’t believe Double-O or Naledge would start anything… guess we will find out.

“Double 0 of Kidz In The Hall badly assaulted by security after performance; Management issues statement”

Double O from the hip hop group Kidz In The Hall was assaulted by several bouncers early Saturday morning, July 26, while inside a nightclub in Tempe, AZ following a Kidz In The Hall performance. Group member and friend Naledge, who did not witness the assault on Double O, was arrested outside of the club. Naledge’s attempt to get medical assistance for Double O was misconstrued as a hinderence to the investigation. Reports that no injuries were sustained are false as Double O was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries from the excessive force used by club security. On Sunday morning Double O underwent surgery for one of his injuries. He is still in the hospital, but in stable condition.

In the last 2 years, Kidz In The Hall have traveled to over 10 countries, have done 200+ shows and never before been involved in any altercation, big or small, with club or concert security, or police officers.

Anyways guess I’ll leave a track from the Kidz so there is some positive outcome from this post.

Termanology ft. Bun B – How We Rock

Posted in music with tags , on July 29, 2008 by KJ

I’ve been following Termanology for quite a while now ever since I heard the track 22 years. Termanology presents his first single, How We Rock, off his upcoming LP Politics As Usual. He teams up with Bun B and DJ Premier to show how they rock. Term explains how the connection came about,

“Around the time when i released “Watch How It Go Down,” Bun B reached out to Premier and expressed interest in working with me. I ended up hangin with Bun at his birthday party in Houston and me preem & bun cooked up this track for my album.”

Video is in the making and the release date for Politics As Usual is September 30. Flyer for the LP after the jump. Also I added Termanology’s 22 years for a nice listen.

Props to Matt
